Admission at Arambagh Vivekananda Academy

Admission Procedure:

1.Guardians are to apply within 15 Feb .08 for the first year ,in the subsequent years the last date is 15 January.

2.Selection of students is made on the basic of Admission Test.

3. As per recent norms of the Govt. there is no admission test for nursery stage .

4.Selected candidates are called for interview along with their guardian.

5.Documents required for admission are:

Duly filled in Adm.form.
Birth certificate in orginal along with two xerox copies.
caste certificate ,if any
Residential documents of parents like ration cards/ voter identity cards/ PAN card/ certificate from pancchayet member or Municipal Councillor.
Two passport size colour photographs without attestation but with the name printed or written on the front side.
Result record of the previous school ,where applicable

Role of parents in education:

Without regular interaction between parents and teachers it is not possible for any educational institution to achive the desired goal.

With this view in mind we have to form parent teacher association and mother teacher association and hold regular meeting. Our aim is to develop understadings and co-ordination between the home and the school.The child's diary is regular bridge of communication between the teachers and the parents and that is why the parents are requested to check the diary of the students regularly. They are further requested to attend the parents teacher meeting.

Apart from this, the parents are welcome to interact with the school authorities whenever required and offer valuable suggesions for its betterment
